The main thing that was stolen from us in the garden was our innocence. The day we lost our innocence was the day we began to die. Father wants to restore the innocence of His children. The tree in the garden that got things all messed up was not evil it was the knowledge of the difference between evil and good(Gen2:17).
Babies don’t know the difference between good and evil and their innocence transcends, or is superior to the choice between good and evil. I believe all the experiences we have with our children are meant to show us are relationship with our Father. The way we play silly games, the way they wonder about things and ask strange questions, the way they try to help us but really only mess things up and the way we love it when they mess things up trying to help. Innocence before the Father is a place where we only look for His approval not whether or not what we do is right or wrong. As parents we tell our children what’s best for them because they don’t have a clue. I think the Father is waiting for us to realize that we don’t have a clue. Jesus had to become our brother to show us how to act with our Father. The neat thing is that because He is human also He experienced our humanity, into spiritual translation or He went through the process of losing His "earthsuit" and going to heaven like we all will someday. He realized a lot of the same things we are realizing. Could it be that He and John the Baptist talked about the visions of heaven they were receiving in the same way we do. They were both in their thirties when they were killed. When John was in prison(Matt 11:4), Jesus told the disciples to give him a message that the blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them. Tell him not to lose heart because everything the Father told us would happen is happening. John our moment in time has finally come, our destinies have come to their fullness. They were children of eternity in their time. We are the children of our time as sons and daughters of the living God and our destinies are before us waiting to be fulfilled.
